You have found the Stoney End Musical instrument catalog. We have been making the hand crafted Stoney End line of folk instruments for almost 30 years. Here, Inc. was started on the West Bank neighborhood of the University of Minnesota during the original folk scene of the late 60's. If you are old enough to remember those times, you will understand why we had to have a sign on the door stating "Bare feet are not cool in a woodworking shop."

We are now located in the rural woodlands near the Mississippi River. Originally, we made only mountain dulcimers, banjos, and bodhrans, but our harps have become recognized and accepted worldwide. Many of our instruments can also be purchased from us in a kit or partially finished form.

We have recently added several lines of quality instruments made by other makers for you to examine.

We also have thousands of titles of music books and CDs for people who want to learn, play and enjoy folk music.
